3. Research and Development

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

 

          Teaching and learning activities in College are always associated along with research in the particular subject. Research induces various values in the teachers and students. University of Pune has introduced various programmes under “Avishkar” in the College to enhance the research activity. In view of the above, our College has also started activities in this field.  

 

Minor Research Projects:

1.                  Prof. Smt C.K. Bhalshankar, Department of Botany has completed minor research project ‘Physiological and nutritional values of fodder crop in              Ahmednagar District’ during the period 2004-2008. For this project she     received Rs. 55000/- assistance from U.G.C.

2.                  Dr.A.D. Kakade, Department of   Physics   has completed minor research project ‘Some studies on surface ozone in different environments’ during the period 2004-2005. For this projects he received Rs 10,000 /- assistance from U.G.C.

 

Faculty   Improvement Programme:

 

1.         Dr. A. D. Kakade, Department of Physics was deputed for Ph.D.work. He continued his same problem of minor research project ‘Some studies on  surface ozone in different  environments’ and submitted thesis. University of  Pune awarded      Ph.D. degree for his research work.

2.         Prof. C.S. Arsule.  Department of Botany is selected for deputation for research work in academic year 2008-09. His topic of research is ‘Monitoring of air borne Bioaerosols over groundnut fields at Newasa, Dist-Ahmednagar.’

3.         Prof .Smt. C. K. Bhalshankar, Department of Botany is selected for deputation for research work in academic year 2008-2009. She continued her problem of minor research work ‘Physiological and nutritional values of fodder crop in the Ahmednagar District.’

 

4.         Prof. V.D. Pawar, Department of Marathi is selected for deputation for research work in academic year 2008-2009. His topic of research is ‘Swatantryottar Kalatil  Mithak  Natakancha  Abhyas’ (Marathi ,Hindi, English  vishesh  sandarbha)
